Rekrut.ru will host an international tournament as an opener of their site on December 14th 2008, inviting 8 top teams and 8 local teams to participate on December 13th. So far mTw, Alternate, HaHa and k23 have been invited to the $24,000 tournament.

The tournament will take place in Moscow at the 4Game Center with a total of 16 teams where eight top teams from around the world have been invited. Also local teams get the chance to qualify the day before for another eight spots in the tournament.

EvilZone just announced their new lineup - for Dreamhack at least, as changes may happen afterwards. Three old faces are back with kvicken, seAzon and adde joined by moddii and zneel. They will have the chance to prove themselves at the Dreamhack tournament taking place from November 27th to 30th.

Right now the organisation considers this a "test lineup" for the upcoming DreamHack as well as Sam 'kvicken' Alvandpour saying, "We will see how it goes first, and go from there". The team is consisting of old EvilZone players as well as moddii coming from Begrip and zneel joini

MeetYourMakers join SK Gaming, World Elite and fnatic as one of four finalists in the ESL's 14th season of the WC3L.

Having already lost to mTw earlier in the season, the predominantly Korean squad of the well-to-do Danish based MeetYourMakers was in a troubled space. On paper MYM did have the ability to beat mTw, but that same assurance was with them weeks prior when they lost to mTw three to two.

Seong Deok "Soju" Lee has been keeping a low profile recently but has taken down a high profile name, Jang Jae "Moon" Ho in the quarter finals of NWL Season 2.

The NiceGameTV League Season 2 is single elimination so this defeat means Moon is out of the competition. Night Elf mirror is Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee's strongest match-up and he won comfortably with 3-0 on Melting Valley, Twisted Meadows and finally Lost Temple.

The Korean foursome ensured SK Gaming a place in the offline finals of WC3L Season XIV as they proved too much for their European counterparts in the final showdown with a comfortable 3-1 win.

The second youngest player of SK Gaming, albeit being a veteran himself, Seo Woo 'ReiGn' Kang, helped his team set the pace in the make or break match with a 2-0 win over Yoan 'ToD' Merlo.

The 2008 Dreamhack winter WGT tour has released its play-off groups for the main Counter-Strike tournament.

Sixteen teams will have their go to win this tournament, fourteen are already known and four will have to advance from a qualifier.
