Players like Magnus 'fox' Olsson and Zhibo 'RazerJ' Fan have had trouble excelling when it really mattered. The Swede plays fantastically in the early stages of every event and usually slows down and disappoints when things get hotter. At the last ASUS Cup in Moscow, RazerJ won the upper bracket final but lost the overall final 4-0 to Alexei 'Cypher' Yanushevsky.
Will those two players get rid of the "choker" label? Winning this tournament would certainly help.
The ESWC Masters of Athens event brought us a new starlet in Sebastian 'Spart1e' Siira. But was he a one-hit wonder or is he going to be a regular podium finisher? He has a tough start at Dreamhack as he meets Richard 'noctis' Gansterer in the group stage. The Austrian has proven to be a threat to everyone, but is not yet a winner. Will he do it this time?
All eyes will be on Maciek 'av3k' Krzykowski, the number one favourite for the event. Dreamhack Winter 2008 is his tournament to lose.
The event starts today. Check out the tournament overview right here and follow it through GTV:
