Warcraft III: WCG adds Grubby to Hall of Fame

The double WCG champ Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen has become the 11th player to be added to WCG's list of heroes.

The Dutch Warcraft 3 player won his second title in at the WCG grand final in Cologne, just like his fellow countryman Wouter "Handewasser" van Someren. His previous gold medal dates from 2004.

Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen is the second Warcraft 3 player in the WCG Hall of Fame, the other one being the double champion and triple medalist Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li. They are in good company in the Hall of Fame as the list of names also includes Team 3D, SK's FIFA players Daniel 'hero' Schellhase and Dennis 'styla' Schellhase, the legendary Lim 'BoxeR' Yo Hwan, the former SK player Christian "GitzZz" Hoeck and others. All WCG Heroes are double gold medalists.

mTw win World Cyber Games 2008 over SK

A great grand final just finished with mTw coming out on top, winning two of three maps over SK Gaming. This is the second tournament in a row they have won, taking home a gold medal as well as $50,000. Three maps had been played, starting with de_dust2 going on to de_tuscan and finishing with de_train.
