DotA: DotA ESL Major Series Season III begins

The national qualifiers and the qualifying rounds are finished and the ESL Major Series proceeds with the group stage.

24 teams fought in a best-of-one format to advance into the group stage. 12 teams finally came forth to be split into groups of six along with some of the seeded teams such as SK Gaming, Meet Your Makers and mousesports.

The teams will play each opponent in their group once. At the end of the group stage the top two from each group will go through to the play-offs and will have a shot at winning the competition.

In the play-offs there will be eight teams playing against each other in double elimination mode. The top three of the tournament will share a total prize pool of € 1500.

Prize distribution:

1st Place - €750

2nd Place - €450

3rd Place - €300
