Christine 'potter' Chi of SK.Ladies is to be the team-captain for the all-star team considering she is the most experienced of the five with two ESWC gold medals to her name from 2007 and 2008, as well as a silver medal from the ESWC Masters of Paris earlier this year.
The all-star team will arrive in the South African capital on the 24th November for two days of media touring as well as a photo shoot before then competing against the winner of the domestic South African online tournament in a female versus male match. The match will take place at a huge event party and tournament on November 29th at Turbine Hall in Johannesburg.

"Win or lose, we are looking forward to bringing a new era of women in CS so there is no confusion that women have talent in gaming"
Leader and founder of PMS Clan, Amber Dalton, is the manager of the all-star team and she believes it a great opportunity to show that women can compete with men. "We are very excited for the girls to play at the PLuGG Game Off and show that women can compete against the guys," said Dalton.
"Win or lose, we are looking forward to bringing a new era of women in CS so there is no confusion that women have talent in gaming... and an era where women will compete regularly in male bracket events as a norm, not a one-off occurrence."

South Africa for the win. :P
Hopefully this will put us on the map..and maybe we can even get WCG and ESWC back? :((((
plllleeaasse! GOSH!
And im not really familiar with the female CS scene but isnt SK like the best in NA? Yet only 1 SK player is in the team :(
who will be the guys?also mix from starplayers???
Gl anyway
our guys are actually good, but because we dont get any attention, it doesnt allow our guys to improve. it's unfair actually that Europe, Asia, North & South America can do anything, and the rest are left to fend for themselves. Hopefully this will put us on the map.
gg
All of our teams suck donkey dick!
Kay.
But I'm saying that most people in our country generally do suck very hard, save for three or four players (including myself).
CS is a team game, and considering what you're saying anthem I hardly think you're actually good.
Dont know any South African players... are they any good?
Good luck to all contenders :x
Sorry but i totally disagree with that. There is no denial that there is a huge gap between male and female players in term of pure skill.
Your turn Anise.
GL!
CS is bigger and bigger everyday !
There's a taste of South African CS for you... that clip is from KODE5 this year.
I wish they having a really nice time in South africa ^^
