It looks like the organisers have underestimated the popularity of esports in Germany. While the hall was empty on Thursday morning, the entire seating at the main stage was taken for the Moon vs. TED semi final.

Trying to watch the MYM vs. mTw live, though, is futile. The small "killer game" stage which is walled off from the rest of the WCG is so packed that it is impossible to go somewhere where you can see something.

Meanwhile, all the usual suspects have qualified for the quarterfinals and the real excitement has started. The big guns are playing other big teams.

13:30(Malystryx) - WC3
Yoan 'ToD' Merlo agreed for an interview post-match after he defeated Kejing 'Like' Li in the playoffs.

The Frenchman is feeling under the weather and predicts Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang and Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn to make the grand final, and for Kim 'SaSe' Hammar to pick up bronze.

10:24(Malystryx) - WC3
The WCG Admins have fixed two errors in the Warcraft tournament. The first a mistake in the playoff tree where they had two 1st seeds against each other (ToD Vs BoneCracker) which was rectified by swapping Kejing 'Like' Li with Martin 'Bonecracker' Hušák. Yoan 'ToD' Merlo now plays LikE while Bonecracker plays Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin.

The second mistake was a bigger one with the wrong player going through to the playoffs, you can find more information about the incident below. The Korean WCG organisers gathered to decide what to do and in the end decided to fix their mistake and told NightWolf that he is no longer in the playoffs due to a mistake on their part, and that Diego 'Raspot' Echeagaray the rightful 2nd place of Group E takes his place.

10:24(Malystryx) - WC3
The talking point for today's Warcraft III tournament is the exit of Diego "Raspot" Echeagaray who seems to have been on the receiving end of an admin's blunder. Raspot was eliminated through a three-way tiebreaker which, as it seems, should not have been played at all. More information here.

Another blunder was the mistake in the play-offs tree. The admins ruled that Martin 'Bonecracker' Hušák should play Yoan 'ToD' Merlo in the play-offs but both finished first in their groups. Bonecracker should in fact face 2nd place of ToD's group, Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin. More information here

Today we will see if they will reverse their decision and if we can get a word from Ownitsch about the whole situation.
