In this article the SK Gaming crew will be reporting on the happenings of the WCG from the floor of the event as they come in.

21:00(Carmac) - CS
Nothing special happened in Counter-Strike today, perhaps except for team GamePlay being less convincing than expected. They tied the Malaysian team and this has to be considered the biggest upset.

We've got playoff previews from Jonas "bESEL" Alsaker Vikan and Andreas "bds" Thorstensson and we will upload those shortly.

18:55(Malystryx) - Rockclimbing
Lawrence "Malystryx' Phillips and Michal "Carmac" Blicharz went head to head in a timed rock climbing competition, find out who was the top dog.

18:35(Malystryx) - WC3
Andrei "Gerila"Petrescu and Wolverine, two "semi-pros" who are attending the events as fans. Find out what they think of WCG2008, who are their favourites and who they enjoyed the most watching.

18:00(Malystryx) - WC3
Do not worry we are still live, just been walking around getting some interviews and here is the first one with Martin 'Bonecracker' Hušák, the bookmakers worst enemy after defeat Kejing 'Like' Li and Du Seop 'WhO' Chang

14:40 (Malystryx) - WC3
Kejing 'Like' Li just gave Du Seop 'WhO' Chang a heavy beating on Terenas stand on the main stage which should almost secure him a spot in the playoffs.

A slow start with both players creeping to level 3 but Who's BM got caught away from his army and was forced to hide low hp windwalked behind the mercenary camp leaving his army easy pickings for LiKe's raiders and shadowhunter. It was an excellent performance by LiKe and one that got the Chinese fans on their feet.

Next is Moon vs HoT on the main stage, make sure you check it out!

14:20 (Carmac) - CS
We have caught up with a member of the dark horse WCG team, Australia's Immunity. His name is Alex Panov. We talked about how the WCG went so far, gaming in Australia and the team's chances in the playoffs:

14:00 (Malystryx) - WC3
Stage matches soon, the first is Kejing 'Like' Li versus Du Seop 'WhO' Chang which is particularly important for Like as he dropped points against the human player Martin 'Bonecracker' Hušák on Turtle Rock.

Bonecracker who surprised at ESWC progressing to the second group stage, even impressed WE.HotLips, "he is a good player, he knows what he is doing". LiKe's match versus WhO could decide his fate and a win could avoid an exit in the group stage.

The second stage match HoT vs Moon is the pick of the group but will most likely only determine which of them is 1st and 2nd as both played all their other games aside from HoT who still has to play the British player Jonathan 'Driftwood' Ede.

13:20 (Malystryx) - WC3
Day two group stage has begun and already a few surprise results in the early days of Group H that holds well known names such as Rotterdam, XloRD, Lucifron, Kiwikaki and FoCuS as well as Aca and Mes.

XLord has started badly losing to Serbian Aca followed by loss to Hyo Sub 'FoCuS' Eom, his body language in the player area was clear to see, obviously bewildered by his performance so far. Rotterdam has also dropped 3 points losing to fellow Orc player Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán, the rest of his groupstage will also rely on his mirror matches with 5 orc players in his group. The group is still open but a tie-breaker could be on the cards.

11:00 (Malystryx) - WC3
Day two is upon us and for Warcraft3 we have the 2nd half of the groupstages; Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang, Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn, Du Seop 'WhO' Chang and Kejing 'Like' Li are just some of the players that enter the fray today.

The first two main stage broadcasts are some top games; WE.LiKe versus mtw.WhO at 14:00pm CET and GG.HoT vs MYM.Moon at 14:30pm CET. We already saw Marc 'yAwS' Förster and Bychkov 'Ghost' Aleksey cause some upsets and force their groups to a tie-breaker yesterday, will someone else trigger some surprise results?

10:46 (Carmac) - CS

A video from yesterday's Counter-Strike tournament, the deciding game between MYM and MIBR which ended with MYM earning themselves a place in the playoffs at the cost of their opponents.
