Scooping up the second title of NiceGameTV tournament from Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen with a 3-2 thriller in the final earlier this weekend, Weiliang “Fly100%” Lu in a post-match interview with SGamer claimed he was gunning for more titles this year.

Despite the match point was around the corner when the Mousesports player was leading 1-0 and at one time had the upper hand when the second game was approaching to the end, Grubby, as Fly100% admitted when he was asked for the reason he lost the second game, had him under his thumb with “spectacular control of his units”.

"I had 10 more pop than him, but he still had me under his thumb with his perfect control"
“I underestimated him after I had the game in my hand. I thought he was going to base trade with me so I bought TP instead of healing scroll. Nevertheless, Grubby was fantastic in that fight. I had 10 more pop than him, but he still had me under his thumb with his perfect control.”

After losing to the Chinese Orc player, Grubby has yet to win a single major individual title so far this year, aside from the champion of ESL Benelux and a handful of ZOTAC Cup first place. That said, he knocked out both Du Seop 'WhO' Chang and June 'Lyn' Park on his way to the final and he was not any inferior to his counterpart in the final. He is at the moment better than ever in Orc mirror, according to Fly100%.

“I have actually lost to Grubby once in group stage, too. So I think he has found the touch in mirror with Blade Master. Chinese Orc players have already been using Blade Master when European and Korean players were still opting for Far Seer before so generally speaking Chinese Orc players are better in mirror.”

Speaking about Orc mirror, Orc players have overtaken the stage in the Warcraft III scene, and Orc mirror has become one of the most common match-ups in various tournaments’ finals following the introduction of the latest patch 1.22. Orc, in Fly100%’s eyes, have gained enormous enhancement with the help of the current patch, however, there has never been one best race, but a better player.

"I don’t believe there is any race that is so-called 'best race', but a better player."
“1.22 has strengthened Orc a lot, especially when they play against Human. Human had been one of the worst nightmares for Orc before 1.22, because most of the main stream strategies rely on towers,”

“Now that towers have been weakened by Blizzard, Orc begin dominating. But I don’t believe there is any race that is so-called 'best race', but a better player. Human players will one day come out with a good idea or strategy to counter Orc.”

Though Fly100% has caught lots of attention with his terrific run in recent months, he could all but lead his team-mates to more team glory in either WC3L or NGL. But he hinted they were on their way back to these leagues after swooping Yanchao 'Lyc' Lu from Colorful two months ago.

“Of course we will strike back in those leagues. I consider WC3L to be the best team-based league worldwide, and it provides us a great opportunity to practice, for example how to deal with lag in game.”

"I will also do whatever I can to win whatever tournaments I can play."
With only two and a half months to go this year, the 21-year-old is poised to claim more titles his own.

“I will take part in this year’s Make Games Colorful tournament and am really looking forward to it because I was not doing particularly well last year,”

“I will also do whatever I can to win whatever tournaments I can play.”
