If the name Sander 'Vo0' Kaasjager is unfamiliar to you, then you must hate esports for some reason. The Dutch player was the golden boy of the "$1,000,000 Era" of gaming during the 2005 CPL World Tour in PainKiller and picked up nearly a quarter of that sum to retire afterward.
Now he is back in competitive gaming again and up against the challenge of catching up in Quake 3. He qualified for the ESWC Grand Final from the Netherlands but he will be fighting both against other players and against the clock.
His first real test in Q3 was at the ESWC Masters of Paris last week where Vo0 took a map from the players who finished first and second in his group, John 'ZeRo4' Hill and Paul 'czm' Nelson. We talked right after the tournament was over.

err wait.. but in the other one he also talked about Tennis... i'm so confused.
His attitude while appearing realistic and used as a motivator in the short term, can spiral into self-indulgence and denial. You begin to validate your performance by assuring your ego doesn't have to face a reality check. Sure I lost, but if I practiced more I could've, nay, would've won! I hope it doesn't happen to voO as he seems like an alright guy.
You bitch and moan like an old woman, it's very tiring to read...
cheers
...and is getting bald.
I like the interview, hope he can get to a even higher level. It's fun to watch him again. Thanks for the 1on1 :)
