The final was absolutely sensational, as predicted. After Xiaofeng "Sky" was taken down by Sung Sik "ReMinD" Kim in the opening game, the new Undead phenomenon Zhuo "TED" Zeng soldiered on and defeated ReMinD, Seo Woo "ReiGn" Kang and June "Lyn" Park twice.
World Elite were leading 4-1 and were only one game away from the title while SK Gaming had only Seong Deok "SoJu" Lee left in their line-up. While everyone was expecting TED to finish another all-kill like he did against Meet Your Makers in the semi-finals yesterday, SoJu put up a hard fight and kept SK Gaming's slight hope alive. He later on defeated World Elite's starlet Xuwen "infi" Wang three times in a row in less than 15 minutes and equalised the total score.
The deciding game seemed to favour SK Gaming as World Elite's last player was Ke "Like" Li who had not had many notable achievements so far and it was SoJu's turn to pick map. However, the underdog showed his worth and finished their opponent's last hope of claiming the champion once and for all with a triple hero kill.
World Elite crowned themselves the kings of the Road of the King and claimed a cheque for $10,000. SK Gaming came second and earned $4,000 while the third placed Meet Your Makers received $2,000.

1. most gamers play starcraft not warcraft and unlike china korea doesnt support much for warcraft 3 dispite these conditions these korean players chose warcraft instead of starcraft u cant say they dont have spirits.
2. Korea doesnt have any warcraft 3 clans at their homebase since nearly everyone supports starcraft so korean players have no choice but to stay in foreign clans.
3. I dont really understand this. only thing that made WE win in ROTK was TED. U cant say TED represents all the pro gamers in china. How are u going to describe sky and Infi losing to Remind and Soju? basically TeD alone won the title(although he lost to sk.soju). As a whole, there are still more better korean players than chinese.
4. As I mentioned in #3, overall South Korea>China. And I think its quite a shame with all that popluation and support u guys still cant do better than korean players

Come on man, we never said Chinese players better than Korean, we only said they are equal, during 2002~2004, some qualified players didn't get the chance to play for the world's tournament due to the VISA issue. Or they will show more to the world.

Even now only China's best like Sky, Infi, Ted, xiaot can compete with the Koreans. But I'd rate 2nd class Koreans like Winners still higher than any of the names that are listed in the CEG qualifiers or the WE.09 team.
since they have gazillions of people they can basically abuse anything in numbers :P
